The operating voltage of power transformers should generally not exceed 105% of the operating tap voltage, and should not exceed the maximum operating voltage of the system. For special use cases, it is allowed to operate at a rated voltage not exceeding 110%.
The top oil temperature of oil immersed transformers should not exceed the operating regulations or manufacturer's specifications. For transformers with forced oil circulation water cooling, the top oil temperature should generally not exceed 700 ℃ frequently.
Transformers with strong oil circulation cooling should be able to control the switching of the cooler according to temperature and/or load.
Transformers that are put into operation should regularly monitor the indications of the instruments and promptly grasp the operation status of the transformers. If defects or abnormal phenomena are found, measures should be taken to eliminate them in a timely manner. If it cannot be eliminated at that time, surveillance must be strengthened. Prevent accidents from escalating. And quickly determine countermeasures.
1. Water supply method for transformer cooling water system
When the transformer is running under load, the cooling water is usually taken from the technical water supply pipe of the unit. When running under no-load, the cooling water is usually taken from the power station's common water supply main and pressurized by the no-load cooling water pump to supply water to the transformer.
2. Drainage method of transformer cooling water system
Under normal circumstances, the cooling water of the transformer under no-load and load is discharged to the tail water pipe of this unit through the technical water supply system drainage main of the unit. Each transformer drainage pipe is equipped with a connecting valve. When the connecting valve is normally closed, it is required to drain the tail water pipe of this unit while the transformer is still operating under narrow load. The connecting valve between this transformer and adjacent transformers can be opened to discharge the no-load cooling water to the tailwater pipes of other units.
