Longitudinal insulation refers to the insulation between turns, layers, and between the same winding and the electrostatic screen. Within the same wire cake, winding multiple turns requires insulation between turns.
Interturn insulation is composed of cable paper wrapped around wires, and the higher the voltage level, the thicker the insulation between turns. Interlayer insulation refers to the insulation between one wire cake and another adjacent wire cake, that is, the width of the oil passage.
