On October 22, 2025, a cargo ship carrying 200KVA 33KV transformers-including flagship oil immersed power transformers and high-performance isolation distribution transformers-slowly departed from Ningbo Port in China, officially setting sail for Tanzania in Africa. This batch of power equipment was R&D and produced by JINSHANMEN TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., a well-known domestic power equipment manufacturer. Both oil immersed power transformers and isolation distribution transformers serve as core components to support local power grid upgrading and renovation projects. Their arrival will not only inject key impetus into alleviating regional power shortages but also become another practical achievement of China-Africa energy cooperation, showcasing our expertise in manufacturing both oil immersed power transformers and isolation distribution transformers.
It is learned that the weak power infrastructure and insufficient power supply stability in some African countries have seriously restricted local industrial production, improvement of people's livelihood, and social and economic development. The African country that purchased this batch of transformers has been vigorously advancing energy infrastructure construction in recent years, and this batch of imported equipment – especially oil immersed power transformers and isolation distribution transformers – will be mainly put into rural power grid extension and small industrial park power supply projects.
