Development prospects of dry-type transformers

So far, H-class dry-type transformers have a very small market share in China's dry-type transformer market, with only a few influential manufacturers. Due to the fact that the vast majority of dry-type transformer manufacturers in our country have introduced epoxy casting structures, and these products have long been accepted by a large number of users, the cost and selling price are continuously decreasing. So, in China, the dominant position of epoxy casting manufacturers in the transformer market is unlikely to change for a considerable period of time.
Some manufacturers who originally produced oil immersed transformers still plan to manufacture dry-type transformer products. Based on considerations of reducing initial investment and innovation, some manufacturers are planning to develop H-class products.
The future development prospects of H-grade products in China are still mainly determined by the quality and price of the products. It cannot be denied that users have a demand for overload capacity, and their acceptance and recognition of such products will affect their development prospects.
In the new century, with the increasing environmental requirements of the country for fire safety, degradation and treatment of waste materials after the end of the operating life of transformers, and the direction of specific environmental policies in the future, H-class dry-type transformers will form strong competitiveness in the future market competition due to their advantages in environmental protection.
