1.Gas analysis
Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of oil is at the heart of 33kv power transformer health monitoring. Hydrogen, acetylene and other gases are produced by the decomposition of insulating materials when internal faults such as overheating and electrical discharges occur. 2.Moisture and insulation
Trace amounts of water detected by the Karl Fischer method can significantly reduce the dielectric strength of insulating oil, accelerate the aging of insulating paper, and even trigger flashover breakdown. Therefore, strictly controlling the moisture content in the oil is an important defence for the safe operation of 33kv power transformer.
3.Dielectric properties
Dielectric loss factor (Tan δ) and dielectric strength are the key indexes to measure the performance of insulating oil; the increase of Tan δ value indicates that the oil is aging or contaminated; the decrease of breakdown voltage means that the oil is mixed with impurities and the insulating ability declines. The two are like a 'barometer', visually reflecting the health of the insulating oil.
4.Other indicators
Furfural content can quantitatively assess the degree of solid insulation aging, directly related to the life of the transformer; acid value, interfacial tension and particulate analysis, respectively, from the perspective of oxidation, pollution and mechanical wear, etc., through the system to detect these indicators, combined with the historical data trend analysis, operation and maintenance personnel can intervene in advance to extend the life of the transformer, to protect the stable operation of the 33kv power transformer power system. The system is a powerful tool to ensure the stable operation of the 33kv power transformer power system.
