Introduction
In 2019, our 2500 kva pad mounted transformers were fully tested on distribution facilities. This 2500 kva 3 phase transformer, operating at a primary voltage of 11kv, drops down to a secondary voltage of 415v. The step-down transformer is equipped with an advanced temperature control system from 11kv to 415v, including automatic shutdown, overheat alarm, ultra-high temperature trip and other functions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the dry-type transformer. Built with state-of-the-art technology and high-quality materials and components, this 11kv distribution transformer offers superior performance with a long operating life.

High-Voltage Winding
The high-voltage winding is vacuum cast using epoxy resin with filler rings, which significantly reduces partial discharge and enhances the electrical strength of the coils. The inner and outer surfaces of the winding are reinforced with fiberglass mesh panels, increasing the mechanical strength of the coils and improving the product's ability to withstand sudden short circuits. This design ensures that the coils will never crack.
Low-Voltage Winding
The low-voltage winding utilizes a foil structure, which addresses the issue of axial helical angle that can occur with wire windings, resulting in a more balanced ampere-turn distribution. Additionally, the coil is designed with axial cooling ducts to enhance heat dissipation. The winding layers are interleaved with TD positive epoxy resin pre-impregnated cloth, which is fully cured to form a solid structure.
Protective Enclosure and Output Busbars
The protective enclosure provides additional safety for the transformer, with available protection levels such as IP20 and IP23. The enclosure materials include options like cold-rolled steel sheets and stainless steel sheets, which can be selected according to user preferences. The low-voltage output utilizes standard busbars, with options for side or top output. Custom output configurations can also be designed based on user requirements.
Transformer Output Configurations
Depending on the interface type, the transformer can be equipped with conventional outputs, standard enclosed busbars, and standard side outputs. Additionally, special output configurations can be designed according to user specifications.
